Fate War разворачивается в пустынном, пост-Рагнарёк-мире на отдалённом острове под названием Сейнтифай — одном из последних убежищ цивилизации. После исчезновения богов и бедствий, опустошивших землю, к власти пришли порождённые пороком существа, известные как Блэкфордж.

Игроки берут на себя роль вождя племени, задача которого — воссоздать поселение с нуля. Вы будете следить за жизнью выживших, балансируя между внутренним развитием и внешними угрозами.

Особое стратегическое значение имеет система реального времени, отражающая изменения окружающей среды. Сезоны сменяют друг друга, день сменяется ночью, и процветание племени зависит от того, насколько хорошо вы адаптируетесь к изменениям природы.

Вы также будете управлять четырьмя типами воинов в бою. Командиры и лейтенанты могут сражаться вместе на передовой, а игра поддерживает как портретный, так и альбомный режим игры.
