This is a simulation of the Golf card game, played with a standard 52-card deck and two Jokers. Each player receives six cards dealt face down, while the remaining cards form a face-down stock pile. The top card is turned face up to begin the discard pile next to it.
The goal is for players to lower the point value of their cards by either swapping them for lower-value cards or by pairing cards of equal rank in columns. The player with the lowest final score wins, and the player with the highest score loses. A total of nine rounds are played.
Starting to the dealer's left, players take turns drawing a single card from either the stock or discard pile. The drawn card can be swapped with one of the player’s six cards or discarded. If swapped with a face-down card, the new card is placed face up. If the player discards the drawn card, their turn ends. A round concludes when all of a player's cards are face up.
The game consists of nine "holes" (rounds), and the player with the lowest cumulative score wins.
