How to play Çanak Okey:
The offline Okey game is typically played with four players. You can use a cue to organize your tiles.
Çanak Okey tiles come in four colors: Red, Black, Yellow, and Blue.
Tile values in Çanak Okey range from 1 to 13.
There are also two special fake Okey tiles.
A total of 106 tiles are used in Çanak Okey.
At the start, all tiles are shuffled and dealt automatically. The player next to the dealer gets 15 tiles; others get 14.
Players arrange their tiles using the cue, grouping them into sets or pairs.
Undealt tiles remain in the center of the table.
The exposed tile in the middle is the indicator tile.
The tile with the same color and number as the indicator is the Okey tile.
In Çanak Okey, the Okey tile can substitute for any tile.
If you finish by discarding the Okey tile, your total points are doubled.
Standard tile arrangement in Çanak Okey:
Group your tiles into sets of at least three. There are two main set types.
The first is a sequence: same-color tiles in consecutive numbers.
The second is a group: same-number tiles in different colors.
Pair arrangement in Çanak Okey:
Arrange all tiles into pairs. If you form seven pairs and discard your last tile, you win.
Indicator rule in Çanak Okey:
At the start, if the player whose turn it is holds the indicator color tile, other players lose 2 points if they don't have it.
Finishing a round in Çanak Okey:
If your final discarded tile is not Okey, it’s a regular finish—other players lose 4 points if it matches the Okey color, otherwise 2 points.
Finishing with seven pairs deducts 4 points from others.
If all your tiles are one color and in sequence from 1 to 13, you achieve a color finish. Opponents' scores drop to zero.
If all your tiles are the same color but not in sequence, opponents lose 8 points.
