Scanwords in Russian are undeniably a unique phenomenon worldwide. No other language boasts such a rich array of literary questions, humorous queries, and contextually relevant questions about current global events. These are found in ordinary crosswords, which might seem trivial, yet they hold profound significance. The Russian people are a nation of the word, cherishing, honoring, and valuing it as their most precious asset.
The scanwords within our application are diverse, ranging from simpler to more complex puzzles, featuring photographs, classic questions, or associative ones such as "one word" or "one word, two words," reminiscent of Elder Fur's tips. Each magazine includes one English-Russian scanword and one "holey" scanword, the reason for which will become clear upon playing. Every page welcomes you with a character from our cheerful family. All scanwords are available to readers for free. This annual collection comprises 52-53 issues, each with 20 scanwords. The full annual set will occupy approximately 50 MB on your device, as the images are small and the text is minimal. We respect the space on your phone.
No internet connection is required to solve the puzzles, provided the scanwords are already downloaded on your device. A new magazine issue is released every Friday. If you have enabled notifications, you will receive a reminder every Friday at 12:00 local time. Upon opening the app, the new issue will download automatically and will not repeat if successful. You can also download or delete any magazine individually, or through "Settings," download all magazines with one click.
The core features, including access to all scanwords, are free for readers within the app. Advertising supports the app, allowing one narrow banner on each page and one interstitial ad before opening a scanword. Our advertisers do not interrupt the puzzle-solving experience and reward viewers with free hints for watching their videos.
Readers have the option, but not the obligation, to manage advertisements by: a) permanently disabling ads, b) subscribing to remove ads and gain unlimited hints during the subscription period, or c) accumulating hints in bulk. These options are clearly displayed in the "Shop."
Privacy Policy:
- We exclusively use the standard Android advertising identifier for ad placement and performance analysis. This identifier may be linked to personally identifiable information or persistent device identifiers such as SSAID, MAC address, or IMEI only with your explicit consent.
