How to Play 101 Çanak Okey
101 Çanak Okey is traditionally played with four players. The game uses 106 stones in four colors: Red, Black, Yellow, and Blue, numbered from 1 to 13, along with two fake Okeys. At the beginning of the game, all stones are mixed and automatically distributed among the players. The player next to the distributor receives 22 stones, while the others get 21.
Players organize their stones into pairs or sets based on cues. The remaining stones are placed in the middle of the table, with one stone face-up serving as the indicator stone. The stone matching the indicator stone's color and number becomes the Okey Stone, which can substitute for any piece.
In 101 Çanak Okey, completing a hand with an Okey stone doubles your points. The normal arrangement involves forming sets of at least three stones, either in series of the same color or as pairs of the same number across different colors. To finish the game, a player must form seven pairs and discard the last stone to the center of the table.
If the game ends without discarding an Okey, it's considered a normal finish, and -101 points are deducted from the finished players' scores.
