A classic Persian card game popular throughout the Middle East
Pasur, also known as Chahar Barg (Persian: پاسور), is a fishing-style card game originating from Persia. Widely enjoyed in Iran, it shares similarities with the Italian games Cassino and Scopa, and bears a particularly close resemblance to the Egyptian game Bastra. The game is also referred to as Chahâr Barg (meaning "4 cards"), Haft Khâj ("seven clubs"), or Haft Va Chahâr, Yâzdah—where 7+4 equals 11, a key score that players aim to achieve by collecting seven clubs in a four-card hand.
