HoYoverse has announced that Honkai: Star Rail's Version 3.6, titled "Back to Earth in Evernight," will launch on September 24, 2025. This update marks the reappearance of familiar Astral Express crew members, this time in entirely new forms.
In Honkai: Star Rail Version 3.6, Evernight and Dan Heng • Permansor Terrae officially join the roster as playable characters. Players who have reached Trailblaze Level 3 or higher can claim Dan Heng for free during a limited-time period.
What’s the story?
The narrative returns Trailblazers to Amphoreus at a critical turning point. Miss Evernight unveils her vision for an "Era Nova," a new direction that diverges from the established doctrine of salvation.
Alongside her, Dan Heng prepares to journey back to Amphoreus, steeling himself for the dangers that accompany a reunion with the Express Crew.
Evernight debuts as a 5-star Ice character following the Path of Remembrance. She embodies March 7th's forgotten history and is designed for synergy with memosprites. When she summons her memosprite, Evey, she accumulates Memoria stacks that empower Evey until it unleashes an attack against all enemies.
The other major introduction in Version 3.6 is Dan Heng • Permansor Terrae. This new form of the Astral Express member, who previously wielded the Azure Dragon's Imbibitor Lunae powers, now walks the Path of Permanence, offering formidable defensive support to any team.
Using his Ultimate, Dan Heng inflicts damage on all enemies. He also enhances the Souldragon, enabling it to perform follow-up attacks whose power scales with the Bondmate's abilities. From his Warp's start until the end of Version 4.0, any Trailblaze Level 3 or higher player can obtain him for free simply by logging into the game.

What else is new?
Version 3.6 introduces Anomaly Arbitration, a new high-difficulty mode. This challenge consists of three stages followed by a final trial, requiring players to assemble three distinct teams to advance. Completing all stages yields rewards, including the new Interference Key.
Additional events will be rolled out over time. "Nice Weather for Dromases" is a creature-raising event where you nurture dromas, while "Colorful Mayhem" offers a multiplayer experience. Download the game now from the Google Play Store, as there is a wealth of new content to explore.
