Révolution numérique Devarattam : un hommage à une application mobile

Cette application, produit de mon projet « Révolution numérique de Devarattam », est dédiée à la préservation et à la promotion de l'art de Devarattam. Il rend hommage à Kalaimamani M. M. Kumararaman (enseignant à la retraite), Kalaimani M. M. Kannan Kumar et Kalaimani M. K. Nellai Manikandan de Zamin Kodangipatti, récipiendaires respectivement des prix KALAIMAMANI, KALAIMANI et USTAD BISMILLAH KHAN YUVA PURASKAR. Ma gratitude s'étend également à mon gourou, M. E. Rajakamulu, et aux légendes estimées de Devarattam.

L'application sert à mettre en valeur Devarattam et ses praticiens renommés. Devarattam, une danse folklorique traditionnelle du Tamil Nadu, possède une riche histoire, interprétée depuis des générations par la communauté Rajakambalathu Nayakkar. Tout en contenant 32 pas de base, la danse peut incorporer jusqu'à 72 pas, dont beaucoup sont des variations sur les mouvements de base.

Devarattam les danseurs se produisent gracieusement, brandissant des foulards dans chaque main et ornés de bracelets de cheville salangai, sur l'accompagnement rythmique de l'instrument de musique Deva Thunthumi.
