How will my child learn?

Plingo includes a variety of engaging and educational mini-games. Your child will develop the following skills:

★ Listening - The mini-games feature spoken challenges and feedback delivered by diverse characters. Your child will quickly learn to recognize words, grammar structures, and the natural rhythm of English.

★ Speaking - Yes, in select mini-games, your child controls the action by speaking—beginning with simple words and advancing to full sentences! Our state-of-the-art speech recognition has been thoroughly tested with children from nearly every country, native language, and dialect, achieving over 99% accuracy in controlled pre-launch tests.

★ Vocabulary - With 5,000+ words and phrases and weekly additions, your child will effortlessly build a strong vocabulary in no time!

★ Reading - The mini-games combine reading and listening, helping your child gain confidence in both areas.

★ Pronunciation - Many learners develop incorrect pronunciation early on, leading to a persistent unnatural accent. We prevent this by helping your child speak like a native! The app systematically teaches the 40 English phonemes (the language’s core sounds), guiding your child to deconstruct words they hear, build words from phonemes, and pronounce everything correctly.

Peripheral Learning

Studies show that language immersion through enjoyable activities is the most effective way to learn. Our unique Peripheral Learning approach is exceptionally effective—your child will hardly realize they’re using an educational app! Instead of picking up niche terms in other games (how useful is “Obsidian” from Minecraft?), let them naturally master English as they advance through our game levels.

Who can use Plingo?

Although designed for children aged 6–12 who are non-native English speakers, Plingo is also enjoyed and beneficial for younger and older learners of all locations and backgrounds.
