Who Can Use This Service?
This service is designed for:
- Registered vessel owners
- Skippers
For Registered Vessel Owners:
Upon receiving an invite email, which is sent based on your vessel's size, you have one calendar month to register and begin using the service. Keep an eye on your inbox for this important communication.
For Skippers:
If you are a skipper, reach out to the vessel owner to request an invite to access the service.
Important Note for Members of Producer Organisations:
If you are part of a producer organisation and lease quota, please refrain from using this online catch recording service. Continue to use a paper logbook to record your catch.
What This Service Replaces:
This new digital service replaces the following:
- The NEP1 form
- The MSAR1 form (note: local Inshore Fisheries and Conservation Authorities (IFCAs) may still require additional information depending on your location)
- The requirement to complete a logbook when leasing fish quota and/or when fishing in two ICES areas (currently IV4/VIId and VIId/VIIe)
