Captain America: Brave New World has exceeded expectations, projecting a $100 million domestic box office intake over the Presidents Day holiday weekend. According to Comscore, the Marvel Studios film earned an estimated $88.5 million across 4,105 theaters in three days, with a potential $100 million mark by the fourth day. Internationally, it added another $92.4 million, resulting in a global weekend estimate of $192.4 million.

With a production budget of $180 million and a break-even point set at approximately $425 million globally, the movie's initial performance places it as the fourth-highest Presidents Day launch ever, following Black Panther ($242 million), Deadpool ($152 million), and Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania ($120 million).

Despite receiving mixed reviews, with IGN scoring it 5/10, the film aims to demonstrate sufficient longevity to counterbalance recent trends within the Marvel Cinematic Universe and generate excitement ahead of upcoming releases like Thunderbolts in May and The Fantastic Four: First Steps in July.
