In Crystal of Atlan, pets are far more than mere companions—they’re vital allies that greatly boost your effectiveness in both PvE and PvP battles. Whether you prefer an aggressive approach or a defensive stance, pets can be tailored to suit your tactics. This guide dives deep into the pet system, providing expert tips on acquiring, managing, and optimizing pets to elevate your gameplay. Let’s get started!
What are Pets?
Pets are loyal creatures that serve as powerful partners in and out of combat. The pet system becomes available at character level 26, granting every player a free pet named “Assistant Jackelope.” Don’t be fooled by their adorable appearance—pets are formidable assets that can significantly increase your combat power (CP). Strategically deploying a pet to enhance your damage output and survivability is key to conquering challenging dungeons.

Evolving your Pet
Evolving pets transforms their look and unlocks new abilities or enhances existing ones. Pet evolution is highly recommended for improved stats and higher CP. To evolve a pet, you’ll need its heart. Upon acquiring a pet, you receive a contract—for instance, the Shining Crystafox comes with a Shining Crystafox contract. Obtaining another contract of the same type converts it into a heart, which is essential for evolution.
