At Star Wars Celebration, fans were thrilled to learn that Hayden Christensen will reprise his role as Anakin Skywalker in Season 2 of *Ahsoka*. While details about Anakin's involvement remain under wraps, the news promises more exciting interactions between Ahsoka and her former master.
Christensen made a special appearance at the *Ahsoka* panel, sharing his enthusiasm for returning to the iconic role. "It was a dream to get to do," he said. "The way they conceived how to do it was brilliant in getting to explore the World Between Worlds. I thought it was all really exciting."
Series creator Dave Filoni playfully remarked that he had to invent new dimensions just to collaborate with Christensen again. Christensen also discussed the extensive conversations he had with the team about Anakin's activities during the Clone Wars. "All of this had been presented well in the animated world, but I was really excited to do that in live action," he noted. "As much as I love the traditional Jedi robes I wore during the prequels, it was exciting to get to see Anakin with a new look."
Later in the panel, Filoni highlighted how their shared history with George Lucas influenced their approach to bringing back Anakin. This collaboration allowed them to fill in knowledge gaps and create a comprehensive portrayal of the character. "I always have George's voice in the back of my head saying, 'faster, more intense!'" Christensen added, echoing Lucas's famous direction.
