  • Players can use Max Mushrooms to increase damage in battles.
  • Event bonuses include increased Max Particle collection, Power Spot battles, and XP rewards.

Pokemon GO enthusiasts are in for a treat as Gigantamax Kingler makes its grand entrance into the game on February 1 during the Max Battle Day event. Since the introduction of the Dynamax and Gigantamax forms last year, Niantic has been steadily rolling out more of these exciting variants, enhancing the gameplay experience for millions of trainers worldwide.

Gigantamax is a unique form of Dynamaxing that not only boosts a Pokemon's size and strength but also alters its appearance and bestows it with powerful G-Max Moves. While the main series features 32 Pokemon capable of Gigantamaxing, only six have been available in Pokemon GO so far, with Gigantamax Lapras being the latest addition. The roster is set to expand with the upcoming event.
