Oni Press has secured the Adventure Time license and is already producing fresh comic adventures starring Finn, Jake, and their friends. The publisher is launching the next major story arc titled "Friends to the End" in the monthly series, with IGN exclusively revealing cover artwork for issue #5.

Adventure Time #5 features writing by Nick Winn (known for Silver Sprocket's Bloody Mary) and artwork by Kenzie Bugg (from Adult Swim's Tuca & Bertie). The issue includes cover contributions from both creators along with Shelli Paroline, Braden Lamb, and Agustin Morales. Additionally, it contains a backup story by Derek Ballard, a writer and storyboard artist from the original animated series.
