In a recent interview with Deadline, Douglas remarked, "I don't think so," when asked about his potential return to the MCU. He shared his enthusiasm for his previous experiences but emphasized his current enjoyment of life away from the camera. "I had the experience, and I was excited to do it," he added, reflecting on his foray into the world of green screen filmmaking.
Douglas, who has largely stepped back from acting in recent years, focusing instead on his role as a producer, mentioned the challenges of juggling both acting and production. "It was overwhelming running the production company and acting at the same time," he explained, indicating a preference for his current hiatus.
The actor had previously expressed a desire for a dramatic end for Hank Pym in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, hoping to elevate the stakes for Paul Rudd's Ant-Man. However, Marvel decided against this narrative path.
