Marcin Blacha, VP and Narrative Lead at CD Projekt Red, highlighted that Project Hadar requires a "remarkable team." Talented developers are invited to explore open positions and shape the game’s development.
Unlike The Witcher series, adapted from Andrzej Sapkowski’s novels, and Cyberpunk 2077, based on a tabletop RPG, Project Hadar introduces CD Projekt’s original universe. Details are limited, though it’s confirmed not to be a space horror, and until recently, only about twenty developers were involved.

CD Projekt Red is managing multiple projects simultaneously. The largest team is focused on Project Polaris, the opening chapter of a new Witcher trilogy centered on Ciri. Two additional teams are developing a Cyberpunk 2077 sequel and another game within The Witcher universe.
