The New Denpa Men has officially landed on Android, following its initial launch in July 2024 for the Nintendo Switch. Developed and published by Genius Sonority, this quirky RPG offers some unique features on mobile that differ from its Switch counterpart.
Now You Can Take Your Quirky Little Denpa Crew on the Go!
One of the standout features of The New Denpa Men on Android is its support for cross-platform play. This means if you've already been catching and battling Denpa Men on the Switch, you can seamlessly transfer your progress and continue your adventure on your mobile device.
On Android (and iOS), The New Denpa Men introduces a new feature called QR Catch. This allows you to scan nearby QR codes to add Denpa Men to your team, replacing the Normal Catch method from the Switch version. However, some features like Together Catch and Offline Catch, which are available on the Switch, are not present in the mobile version.
Another exciting addition to the Android version is the Voucher Collection system. After battles, monsters drop vouchers known as Akashi at random. Collecting these vouchers helps you complete your collection, and they can be gifted to friends or used strategically in battles.
There's also a fun twist with scarecrows in the mobile version. You can now summon monsters using them, and these summoned creatures will fight alongside you, attacking enemies and healing your party. To see these features in action, check out the game's trailer below.
Will You Catch The New Denpa Men on Android?
The Denpa Men are strange little creatures that float around invisibly in the airwaves. Your goal in the game is to catch them, train them, and send them on adventures. The game features dungeon-crawling, island decoration, interaction with your Denpa Men, fishing, and exploration of various event-based and extra stages that evolve over time.
So, why not check out The New Denpa Men on the Google Play Store? The game is primarily played using touchscreen controls, but you also have the option to use a controller for a more traditional gaming experience.
