Developer Perspectives on The Edge of Fate
As Destiny 2 approaches The Edge of Fate expansion, Bungie released developer insights exploring players' journey on Kepler. The narrative follows Orin, the Emissary of the Nine, as she breaks free from cosmic entities to reunite with Guardians.
This expansion delves into Nine's mythology and their internal power struggle following Orin's unexpected departure, paving the way for Destiny 2's next major storyline.

"This release explores serendipity - those magical connections that appear accidental but follow deeper patterns," explained developers, hinting at significant unseen forces shaping events.
"World Tiers" introduce progressive difficulty scaling with enhanced rewards. Higher tiers present tougher enemies and exclusive mysteries on Kepler, encouraging strategic gameplay advancement.

The Edge of Fate launches Destiny 2's Year of the Prophecy, featuring a Star Wars collaborative event called Renegades premiering December 2. Over a decade after release, Bungie continues evolving this acclaimed multiplayer FPS.
