This line is famously spoken by Vivi, the beloved black mage from FF9, during the game's emotional conclusion. The post was captioned, "If you know, you know," accompanied by a crying emoji. While not an official announcement, fans quickly interpreted the tweet as a possible hint toward a remake.
A remake of Final Fantasy 9 has been highly requested by the community, as the game remains a cherished favorite celebrated for its timeless charm and deep emotional storytelling. Hironobu Sakaguchi, the creator of the Final Fantasy series, has even named FF9 as his personal favorite. Following the successful remake of Final Fantasy 7, and with FF9's enduring popularity and upcoming 25th anniversary, many believe a remake is a logical next step.
