The latest updates showcase small icons of four out of the eight main characters on the website. Clicking these icons reveals brief descriptions accompanied by new artwork from FF9’s character designer, Toshiyuki Itahana, known for his work on the Crystal Chronicles and Chocobo series. These descriptions encapsulate each character's essence and their narrative goals.

Garnet’s Silver Necklace is now open for reservations and is set to release on November 15, priced at approximately 38,500 yen ($260). Meanwhile, a wearable replica of Vivi’s hat is also available for pre-order, with an expected release date of September 6, costing around 17,600 yen ($120).
The FF9 Acrylic Stand Collection offers eight different designs in blind boxes, adding an element of surprise for collectors.
