Habby is back with Wittle Defender, its aptly named new adventure now open for pre-registration. Billed as a "fusion of tower defense, roguelike, and card strategy," this inventive mash-up features auto-battling as the tiny titular defender. You'll collect and upgrade a wide array of skills and tactics along the way.
Assemble your squad of heroes to fend off relentless monster waves, while discovering treasures in vibrant dungeons. Unexpected skills will emerge to keep the gameplay fresh. From the Blazing Archer to the Thunder Pharaoh, each hero brings a distinct kit into battle—your task is to devise the best tactics to overpower your enemies.
Judging by the online screenshots, it looks to be a delightfully fun and casual experience, perfectly suited for mobile's pick-up-and-play style, especially with its portrait orientation. Habby's expertise in this area is unquestionable, especially after the sheer enjoyment I got from playing Capybara Go.
