The collection will include both two-packs and single releases, depending on character size. The complete Marvel vs. Capcom roster features:
- Wolverine vs. Silver Samurai
- Psylocke vs. Thanos
- Captain America vs. Venom
- War Machine vs. Omega Red
- Gargantos (previously known as Shuma-Gorath)
- Juggernaut
While most characters have appeared in previous Marvel Legends waves (except Gargantos), these new figures feature enhanced designs that better capture the dynamic pixel art aesthetic of the classic fighting games. Wolverine sports exaggerated claws and mask detailing, while Venom appears in his signature blue game-accurate color scheme. The Psylocke figure particularly stands out, demonstrating the impressive articulation possible with these new molds.
Though this wave doesn't cover every Marvel vs. Capcom character, collectors can supplement their displays with past Marvel Legends releases - even niche characters like Marrow and Blackheart have received figures. The bigger challenge lies in completing the Capcom side of the roster. We'd suggest checking out Jada Toys' Street Fighter line for characters like Ryu and Chun-Li.
Hasbro also unveiled their Fantastic Four: First Steps figures collection, featuring the core team alongside Julia Garner's Silver Surfer. Explore them in our slideshow below:
