If you’re a fan of Japanese music, you're no stranger to HYDE, the iconic artist who has graced Madison Square Garden and sold over 40 million records. Now, he's taking the spotlight as the main character in a thrilling new endless runner game, Hyde Run, which has just gone global today.
Originally launched in Japan, Hyde Run is now accessible to players worldwide, thanks to its developer and publisher, Phoenixx. The game offers global fans a unique way to engage with HYDE’s illustrious career through gameplay packed with nods to his music and achievements.
Move, Jump, or Slide in Hyde Run
In Hyde Run, you'll find yourself parkouring across a concert stage and through a futuristic Tokyo simultaneously. As HYDE, you'll navigate a high-speed chase through Neo Tokyo, evading obstacles, wall-running past vibrant billboards, and collecting musical notes along the way.
Unlike typical endless runners, Hyde Run infuses the energy of a guitar solo and caters specifically to HYDE's fanbase. As you dash through the neon-lit city, you can pick up various power-ups, such as magnets that attract notes or barriers that protect you from damage.
Before embarking on each run, you can select items to enhance your performance. Activate a Note Gain to collect more notes or choose a Barrier to avoid those pesky obstacles.
Additionally, you can gather crystals to unlock exclusive outfits and room items inspired by HYDE's long-standing career. Unlock the Microphone Stand to access voice clips directly from HYDE himself.

There’s More Stuff in the Game to Do
Hyde Run also lets you customize HYDE’s room with memorabilia spanning 20 years of his career, from tour gear to more obscure references. Hidden items unlock additional messages and voice notes from HYDE, adding a personal touch to your gaming experience.
Currently, there's a range of limited-time content available until June 10th, 2025. The THE LAST ROCKSTARS Costume Set features HYDE in his iconic look from the music video, complete with matching ROCK Furniture like leopard prints, vintage trunks, and stage spotlights.
For a more relaxed vibe, the Bat Jinbei Costume Set offers a summer-festival-inspired look. If you prefer a traditional aesthetic, there's a Japanese-style furniture set with bamboo, bonboris, and a wind chime shaped like HYDE’s Edyh character.
