In the second phase of Season 5: The Blossoming Blade, Monster Hunter Now introduces Spring Hunt 2025, a premium online event scheduled for May 24-25, 2025. This update highlights the elusive elder dragon Chameleos.
What to Expect from Spring Hunt 2025?
Spring Hunt 2025 requires a ticket purchasable from the Monster Hunter Now shop. It grants continuous Elder Dragon Interceptions focused solely on Chameleos, eliminating wait times between Interceptions and Hunt-a-thons. Players can also unlock exclusive Chameleos-themed layered gear.
The event features two Event Exchange Hubs. The Spring Hunt Eve Exchange Hub operates from May 19 at 9:00 a.m. to June 2 at 11:59 p.m.
From May 19 to May 25, defeating large monsters or elder dragons earns tokens, which can be exchanged for rewards like Silver Rathalos Plate, Glavenus Plate, Wyvern Gem Shard, and more.
Ready to Face Chameleos?
Chameleos is notorious for its stealth tactics and vision-obscuring fog. Starting May 24, 2025, players can challenge this elusive dragon in Elder Dragon Interceptions.
Players at rank 100 or higher can face Chameleos in 8-star Elder Dragon Interceptions, available from 9:00 a.m. on May 24. Chameleos is weak to Fire, Dragon, and Blast, so optimize your gear accordingly.
Defeating Chameleos allows crafting of the Mizuha Set armor, featuring the Chameleos Venomist skill, which halves poison and venom duration while boosting your ability to inflict poison.
Weapons craftable from Chameleos materials include Dual Blades, Great Sword, Long Sword, Hammer, Gunlance, Switch Axe, Charge Blade, and Bow. Download Monster Hunter Now from the Google Play Store and prepare for Spring Hunt 2025.
