A remarkable moment unfolded at the Nintendo Switch 2 Experience in Japan, where a speedrunner completed *The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild* for the Nintendo Switch 2 Edition in under 10 minutes. As reported by VGC, Japanese content creator Ikaboze pulled off an astonishing feat by defeating Ganon with absolutely no equipment—completely "naked" in-game—using an unfamiliar save file and controller.
Despite not knowing what items were available in the pre-loaded save file, Ikaboze decided to challenge himself by removing all of Link's gear and attempting to take down Ganon barehanded. To the amazement of onlookers, he succeeded in just seven minutes, prompting spontaneous applause from the crowd. The moment was captured and shared via Twitter (X), drawing attention from fans worldwide.

Adding to the difficulty, Ikaboze mentioned that the noisy environment of the convention hall made it hard to hear the game audio. He also noted the unexpected turnout: “I was surprised by how many people had gathered. Staff were even filming on their smartphones. This was the first time anyone had completed the *Breath of the Wild* demo, and staff congratulated me.”
The Nintendo Switch 2 Enhanced Edition of *Breath of the Wild* features enhanced visuals, improved performance, built-in achievements, and support for the new “Zelda Notes” service via the Nintendo Switch Online app. Owners of the original version can purchase an upgrade pack for $10 to access these enhancements. Alternatively, Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack subscribers can claim both the *Breath of the Wild* and *Tears of the Kingdom* upgrade packs at no additional cost.
