Persona 5: The Phantom X (P5X) is set to expand its reach with the launch of a new social media account dedicated to its English version. On May 15, P5X Official West announced an exciting livestream scheduled for the same day at 7:00 AM PT on Atlus' official western YouTube channel. This could be the moment fans have been waiting for—a potential reveal of the English release date.

The livestream promises to be a star-studded event, featuring special guests from the game's cast, including Kaede Hondo, the voice of Motoha Arai, and Chika Anzai, the voice of Yui. They will be joined by key figures from the development team, such as P5X Chief Producer Yohsuke Uda, Development Director Yusuke Nitta from ATLUS, as well as Development Producer Jun Matsunaga and Live Ops Director Yuta Sakai from SEGA.
P5X was initially released in select regions in April 2024. Speculation is rife that the developers might announce a Western release during the upcoming stream, especially after they hinted at English localization plans during the game's first anniversary livestream. The official account has teased that while the release date for Japan will be confirmed, "but what about the West? Be sure to tune in and find out!"

The livestream will also shed more light on P5X’s upcoming Japanese (JP) release. During the game's first anniversary celebration, Atlus confirmed a launch in Japan scheduled for Summer 2025, and pre-registrations are already open on P5X’s JP website.
Sega Sammy Holdings, a Japanese global holding company, highlighted P5X in their Fiscal Year 2025 Results Presentation on May 12, noting that the game is slated for release "In or after FY2026/3" (from April 1, 2025, to March 31, 2026), with a target launch this summer.
