Maintaining your footwear in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is crucial; worn-out shoes leave you vulnerable. This guide details how to acquire and repair shoes.
Acquiring Shoes:
While you begin with a pair, replacements are readily available. Loot chests and fallen enemies (poachers, etc.) often yield shoes. Alternatively, purchase them from vendors.
Tailors sell shoes, but cobblers offer superior quality. Locate a cobbler (marked by three red circles on the map) – one is found early in Trosky.
Cobblers, like Matthew in Trosky, sell various goods, including horse equipment, blacksmith's kits, and cobbler's kits.
Repairing Shoes:
Several repair methods exist. Cobblers and blacksmiths offer repair services; the cost varies based on your Craftsmanship skill level (perks provide discounts).
Alternatively, self-repair is possible with a Cobbler's Kit. These kits are purchased from cobblers, blacksmiths, or found in chests/loot. Your Craftsmanship skill determines success; insufficient skill renders items unrepairable.
To use the kit, access your inventory, select the kit, and use the interact button ("E" on PC). A menu appears, listing repairable items. Faded items indicate insufficient skill. Select items and repair. Blacksmith's Kits function similarly for other equipment. While vendor repairs are convenient, maintaining your gear is essential.
