The follow-up to Slayaway Camp has arrived on Android. Slayaway Camp 2: Puzzle Horror, previously added to Netflix’s gaming lineup in December 2023, is now available as a standalone title from Blue Wizard Digital, the studio behind Friday the 13th: Killer Puzzle.
What’s Fresh in Slayaway Camp 2: Puzzle Horror?
This sequel delivers thrills, building on its predecessor’s charm. The developers have trapped the infamous killer Skullface inside a mock streaming platform called Terrortube, setting the stage for a bloody (and brainy) adventure.
The story begins with a group of teens summoning an urban legend for kicks. Skullface appears, slashing away, until one clever kid traps him in a phone. Now stuck in Terrortube, Skullface hijacks low-budget horror films, stealing the spotlight and embarking on a murderous rampage.
Players can unlock 36 unique killers across five wild classes. Alongside classic Slashers, there’s a supernatural twist with Ghosts that glide through walls, Sorcerers who incinerate obstacles and victims, Beasts that stun prey with a roar, and Monsters who summon zombie allies from the dead.
The game features 25 parody puzzle movies, each poking fun at horror clichés with absurd titles like The Horribly Scarred Beast Who Slays and Don’t Bring That Icy Alien to Your Arctic Lab.
Movies are organized by theme. Categories like Law Enforcement Laughs introduce lethal cops, while Sci-Fi Frights showcase teleporters and quirky tech. Supernatural Occurrences highlight the mechanics of the new killer classes.
Each film includes 3-5 puzzle scenes, with tougher versions unlocking after completion. These retain the core layout but mix in new mechanics, killers, and level tweaks. Check out Slayaway Camp 2: Puzzle Horror below.
Classic Sliding-Block Gameplay Returns
Players guide Skullface or other killers across a grid to approach terrified campers, who then flee until they hit a wall or something deadlier.
Levels add challenges like crates, gates, switches, mines, armed locals, and animals that either obstruct or explode.
