The Horizons Celebration event is making a triumphant return to Pokémon Go, and this time it's bringing a splash of vibrant pink with the debut of Tinkatink and its evolutions, Tinkatuff and Tinkaton. Mark your calendars for the event running from April 16th to 22nd, where you can encounter these new additions to the Pokémon Go roster.
Tinkaton, known for its playful yet powerful hammer-wielding antics, especially against Corviknight, is ready to join your team. To evolve Tinkatink all the way to Tinkaton, you'll need to gather around 125 Candy throughout the event week.
Adding to the excitement, Floragato will be appearing in a special costumed version, sporting a hat adorned with Liko's pin. You can find this stylish Pokémon in the wild, hatching from Eggs, and participating in Raids. Keep an eye out for its Shiny variant as well. Other Pokémon like Pikachu wearing Cap's hat and Charcadet may also make appearances.
A variety of Paldea region favorites such as Fuecoco, Sprigatito, Quaxly, and Pawmi will be roaming the wild. Meanwhile, seven km Eggs will hatch familiar faces like Hatenna and Elekid, with a chance to hatch Tinkatink as well. Don't miss out on the snapshot surprises, where characters from the Horizons series might photobomb your pictures.
For those eager to battle, Pikachu in Cap's hat will come equipped with the special move Volt Tackle. Raids will feature a mix of Pokémon including Charizard, Metagross, Alolan Muk, and more Floragato. Bonus hunters will be thrilled with increased Team Go Rocket balloon appearances, halved Egg hatch distances, and boosted Shiny chances and Stardust payouts.
Engage in Field Research and take advantage of both free and paid Timed Research opportunities, which offer extra rewards including an exclusive avatar pose. To prepare for the event, consider purchasing the Celebration Event Ultra Ticket Box from the Pokémon Go Web Store for $4.99.
