Haven't finished collecting all the cards from Pokémon TCG Pocket's Celestial Guardians expansion that launched just three weeks ago? Tough luck – another expansion is already on its way. Titled Extradimensional Crisis, this May 29th release brings the bizarre Ultra Beasts and the unsettling chimera Pokémon Type: Null.
Extradimensional Crisis introduces the Ultra Beasts – those strange, otherworldly creatures that served as dimensional invaders in Pokémon Sun and Moon. Among confirmed cards are Buzzwole ex, Blacephalon, Nihilego, and Guzzlord ex. The expansion also adds more Alolan Pokémon to complement those from Celestial Guardians, while Type: Null's inclusion strongly suggests its evolved form Silvally will appear too.
New expansions mean fresh cosmetics, and this one delivers an Ultra Beast-themed binder cover available for shop tickets starting May 29th. From June 11th, players can also acquire a floral display board through an upcoming Wonder Pick event using event tickets.
Pokémon TCG Pocket has maintained a steady expansion pace since its debut last year. While Extradimensional Crisis qualifies as a minor booster expansion (featuring just one pack type instead of multiple), its arrival closely follows previous releases. This marks the game's seventh overall expansion and fourth smaller-scale addition alongside Mythical Island, Triumphant Light, and Shining Revelry. Currently, all expansions remain available in-game – though how long this will last remains uncertain.
