BarbarQ is a casual, real-time multiplayer battle arena and battle royale game where you compete against enemies in an arena to prove you are the best. Featuring addictive gameplay with retro pixel art visuals, it blends unique elements from MOBA and IO games for an awesome experience.
The game includes a level system that grants you a new skill upon leveling up (up to 5 skills total). These skills persist throughout the match, so choose wisely. In BarbarQ, leveling isn't everything; teamwork, item usage, dodging abilities, and strategic skills can turn the tide of any match.
Eating mushrooms grants experience points used to level up and unlock new skills as matches progress. As players grow stronger, they become physically larger and gain abilities that help them fend off competition while becoming more attractive targets. Here, you play as barbarians aiming to outfight each other and consume mushrooms. The game also features collectible items like bombs, honey, meat, and various random power-ups.
Similar to IO-style games, levels and in-match items reset after every round. However, players earn gold that can be used to upgrade skills and unlock pets for a combat advantage. BarbarQ offers multiple modes including real-time 3v3v3 and 2v2v2 team fights, Idle mode, Pet Adventure, and various solo options.
