Two Galar region Pokémon arrive in Pokémon Go this April, offering players a mix of charm and intensity. The Sweet Discoveries event marks Applin's debut, while Dynamax Entei unleashes its fiery power during the Max Battle Weekend.
From April 24 to 29, the Sweet Discoveries event highlights Applin, the Dragon/Grass-type Pokémon. Catching Applin is just the start—evolving it requires 200 Applin Candy and 20 apples. Tart Apples yield Flapple, while Sweet Apples produce Appletun. Find apples in the wild, especially near Mossy Lures, which may also trigger Applin encounters.
During the event, wild spawns feature Bounsweet, Skwovet, and the festive Delibird. Field Research and Eggs provide opportunities to catch themed Pokémon like Munchlax and Cherubi. Timed Research, available in free and paid versions, offers Sweet and Tart Apples. The paid option includes extra Mossy Lure Modules and additional Applin encounters.
