Black Ops 6 Zombies Mode's New Map May Remove or Reduce Amalgams

Get ready, Zombies fans! Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is set to introduce an exciting new map for its round-based survival mode. Here's everything you need to know about the upcoming Mansion map and what to expect!

Black Ops 6 Gets New Zombies Map

No Amalgams Here

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is expanding its Zombies mode with a brand new map, marking the fifth addition to the game. A sneak peek was shared via the official Call of Duty X (Twitter) account and Black Ops 6 developer Treyarch Studio’s X (Twitter) on March 12, 2025. The teaser image showcases a grand mansion with visible damage, flaming army car wreckage, dark puffs of black smoke, and internal fires.

The post is captioned with "Personal log. Edward Richtoften recording…" and includes the "#Zombies" hashtag. Edward "Eddie" Richtoften, a beloved character from the series with a significant role in Call of Duty: Cold War, is set to return in this Black Ops 6 remake.

Sharp-eyed fans have identified the map as the Mansion from Liberty Falls, set in February 1991, as indicated on the teaser image. This timeline aligns perfectly with the narrative from the previous Black Ops 6 Zombies map, The Tomb, suggesting a seamless continuation of the story.

Black Ops 6 Zombies Mode's New Map May Remove or Reduce Amalgams

One of the most intriguing aspects of this new map is the absence of Amalgam enemies. Treyarch confirmed this on their Instagram account when a user expressed excitement about facing "20 amalgams on this map too," to which the developers simply replied, "Nope." Amalgams, known for their high HP and powerful attacks, will not be part of this map, potentially offering players a smoother and less challenging experience.
