Cassette Beasts Launches on Android: Transform into Monsters!

After numerous delays, the highly anticipated Cassette Beasts has finally made its global debut on Android. Developed by Bytten Studio and published by Raw Fury, this game arrives on mobile platforms two years following its initial PC release.

Let me introduce you to Cassette Beasts. If you're unfamiliar with cassettes, those nostalgic music storage devices your parents might have used, a quick Google search can fill you in.

Play the Cassette Beasts on Your Player

In Cassette Beasts, you find yourself stranded on the enigmatic island of New Wirral, a place that feels like it's out of time and space. Here, monsters roam freely, and inhabitants transform into creatures to combat these threats. The island's technology is driven by cassette tapes.

Your mission is to survive on the island and uncover a way back home. To achieve this, you'll use a cassette player to record the island's monsters. By playing back these recordings, you can transform into the creatures you've captured.

Forming strong bonds with the residents of Harbourtown allows you to fuse monster forms with your partner, creating an array of unique and powerful hybrids. With the ability to fuse any two monsters, the possibilities are virtually limitless.

There’s a Whole World to Explore

New Wirral is teeming with dungeons, puzzles, and secret areas that you can only access by harnessing specific monster abilities. Glide over cliffs, swim through mysterious waters, scale seemingly impossible walls, and even utilize magnetic powers to navigate the island.

The game features a turn-based combat system enriched with an elemental chemistry mechanic. Strategically combining different types can disrupt your foes, enhance your team, or even alter an opponent’s elemental type during battle.

Cassette Beasts supports Bluetooth controllers, though you might encounter minor issues. The game is free to play, so why not give it a try? You can download it from the Google Play Store.
