Crashlands 2 Update 1.1 Reintroduces Compendium

Crashlands 2 has just rolled out a major update, version 1.1, from Butterscotch Shenanigans, and it's packed with features that fans of the original Crashlands have been eagerly awaiting. Let's dive into what this update brings to the table.

What's in Store in Crashlands 2 Update 1.1?

The update introduces the new Legend Mode, ramping up the difficulty beyond the existing Challenge Mode. On the planet Woanope, enemies are now quicker, pack a harder punch, and boast significantly larger HP bars. Meanwhile, Flux Dabes has become more vulnerable, adding an extra layer of challenge. While there aren't specific achievements for conquering Legend Mode, completing it will automatically unlock all achievements from lower difficulties, rewarding dedicated players.

For those who prefer a more relaxed experience, Explorer Mode has been added. This mode dials back the combat intensity, allowing players to focus on activities like farming mushrooms, building a cozy home, and fishing. It's perfect for those who want to immerse themselves in the game's narrative, decorate their base, and enjoy the company of Crashlands 2's unique characters.

A significant addition is the return of The Compendium, a feature fans were clamoring for since the game's launch. The Compendium now meticulously tracks everything Flux discovers, from pets and recipes to items, helping players keep tabs on what they need to achieve their goals.

Pets Also Got a Bit of an Upgrade

In Update 1.1, pets in Crashlands 2 have become more integral to gameplay. They now assist during battles and come equipped with a special ability that can be activated every 20 seconds, adding a strategic element to combat.

Gear crafting has seen an increase in variety, with random bonus stats now appearing when crafting armor. New gadgets, weapons, and trinkets have also been introduced, enhancing the customization and progression systems.

Quality of life improvements are abundant in this update. Players can now build on a wider variety of terrains, customize the location of their home teleporter, and adjust the darkness levels at night, making the game more enjoyable and user-friendly.

Crashlands 2 is available on the Google Play Store, having launched on April 10th. This update demonstrates Butterscotch Shenanigans' commitment to responding to player feedback and enhancing the gaming experience.
