Dead by Daylight has joined forces with the iconic Resident Evil series to introduce an exhilarating new 2v8 mode, injecting fresh excitement into the gameplay. This special event showcases legendary villains from Capcom’s acclaimed series, offering a thrilling new dimension to the game.
Players have the opportunity to embody two notorious antagonists: Nemesis and Albert Wesker, also known as The Puppeteer. They will confront a squad of Resident Evil's most iconic heroes, including:
- Jill Valentine
- Leon Kennedy
- Claire Redfield
- Ada Wong
The intense confrontations unfold within the well-known Raccoon City Police Station, creating an atmospheric setting for the battles.
This collaboration stands out as it marks the first time Nemesis and Wesker are paired together in this type of gameplay, delivering a truly unique experience. Both characters harness their distinctive infection-based abilities: Nemesis uses the T-Virus, while Wesker employs Uroboros to hunt down Survivors.
In the 2v8 mode, players can gather special herbs inspired by the Resident Evil series. These herbs serve various purposes; for instance, some provide healing for Survivors, while yellow herbs are utilized to repair hooks. Notably, Killers can also collect herbs, which temporarily boost their speed.
Whether you're a newcomer to the 2v8 mode or a veteran player, there are crucial updates to consider. The conventional Powers and Perks system has been swapped out for a new Class System, opening up a range of strategic possibilities for both Killers and Survivors.
