by Carter May 27,2025

Summary

  • 75 games will support DLSS 4 Multi-Frame Generation, exclusive to the RTX 50 GPUs, enhancing FPS.
  • Nvidia's Blackwell GPUs will improve DLSS technology, with the RTX 5090 flagship model starting at $1,999.
  • DLSS 4 and Multi-Frame Generation features will not be exclusive to the RTX 50 series.

During Nvidia's keynote at the 2025 Consumer Electronics Show (CES), the company announced that 75 games will support DLSS 4 Multi-Frame Generation, a feature exclusive to the RTX 50 series of graphics cards. This technology will be integrated into highly anticipated games such as Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, Cyberpunk 2077, and Marvel Rivals upon the release of the RTX 50 GPUs.

The upcoming Nvidia GPUs, codenamed Blackwell, will build on the foundation laid by the current Ada Lovelace lineup, with significant enhancements to Nvidia's Deep Learning Super Sampling (DLSS) technology. Scheduled for a January release, the RTX 50 GPUs will introduce Multi-Frame Generation, which promises to boost frames per second (FPS) in supported titles more effectively than the existing Frame Generation technology. The flagship model, RTX 5090, will feature 32GB of GDDR7 video memory and start at an MSRP of $1,999. Other models in the lineup, including the RTX 5080, RTX 5070 Ti, and RTX 5070, will have starting prices of $999, $749, and $549, respectively.

Nvidia highlighted DLSS 4 and Multi-Frame Generation as transformative technologies and revealed a comprehensive list of 75 games and apps that will support these features from the outset. In a demonstration using Cyberpunk 2077, Nvidia showed that with DLSS and Multi-Frame Generation disabled and full ray tracing enabled, the game ran below 30 FPS on the RTX 5090. However, activating these features increased the frame rate to an impressive 236 FPS on the flagship Blackwell GPU.
