Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium Global Won’t Support Cross-Region Play

Girls' Frontline 2: Exilium is set for global release! MICA Team (Sunborn Network) has unveiled new details about their upcoming RPG, addressing player questions in a recent Q&A video.

Publisher Differences and Launch Plans

The game's global launch will utilize two server platforms: Darkwinter (Sunborn subsidiary) and Haoplay. While content remains consistent, server hopping won't be possible. Darkwinter will manage its own PC launcher, while the Haoplay version will be on Steam.

The global launch will deviate from the Chinese version's initial event schedule. To refine certain story elements, some early Chinese events will be omitted initially, similar to Azur Lane Global's launch strategy. The global server will debut with the "Sojourners of the Glass Island" event, offering the complete story experience from the start. Omitted events may be added later.

The popular Groza "Sangria Succulent" skin returns, and more classic skins are hinted at, based on player feedback. Potential crossovers with Neural Cloud and Gundam have also been discussed.
