Can You Find the Staff of Ice in the Mystery Box?
While the Staff of Ice can randomly appear in The Tomb's Mystery Box, relying on this method is purely luck-based. The Ray Gun also competes for the same slot, making this an unreliable strategy. Using the "Wunderbar!" GobbleGum increases your chances, but it's not a guaranteed method. For a more reliable approach, crafting the weapon is recommended.
Crafting the Staff of Ice: A Step-by-Step Guide
The Staff of Ice requires three components: the Monocle, the Head Piece, and the Staff itself. These can be obtained in any order.
1. Obtaining the Monocle:
Eliminate the first Shock Mimic encountered in a match. The Monocle will drop upon its death. Interact with it to add it to your inventory.
2. Obtaining the Head Piece:
- Locate the Mural: Travel to the Neolithic Catacombs and find the wall with the cave painting. Initially, the symbols may be unlit.
- Illuminate the Mural: Activate Dark Aether lanterns until the one closest to the mural is lit with purple fire. This will reveal Roman numerals on the wall.
- Solve the Puzzle: Shoot the numerals in ascending order (I to X). Incorrect shots will not reset your progress; simply continue from the last correctly hit numeral. Use a standard bullet weapon; avoid splash or explosive damage.
- Survive the Lockdown: Completing the puzzle triggers a lockdown. Defend yourself against zombies and special enemies until the lockdown ends. The Head Piece will then appear on the wall.
3. Obtaining the Staff Piece:
- Locate the Mural: Proceed to the Tombs room and locate the Bull Mural (bull facing left).
- Illuminate the Mural: Activate Dark Aether lanterns until the one closest to the mural is lit. This reveals Roman numerals.
- Solve the Puzzle: Shoot the numerals in ascending order (I to VIII). As with the Head Piece, incorrect shots do not reset progress.
- Survive the Lockdown: A lockdown will commence. Survive the onslaught of enemies to obtain the Staff Piece.
4. Assembling the Staff of Ice:
