Marvel Rivals Welcomes Invisible Woman and More in Season 1
Get ready for a major update to Marvel Rivals! On January 10th at 1 AM PST, Season 1: Eternal Darkness Falls launches, bringing with it the Fantastic Four's Invisible Woman, new maps, a fresh game mode, and a new battle pass.
A sneak peek at Invisible Woman's gameplay reveals a versatile Strategist. Her abilities include a primary attack that damages foes while healing allies, a knockback for close-range threats, temporary invisibility, a double jump for enhanced mobility, and a protective shield for teammates. Her ultimate ability creates an area of invisibility, disrupting ranged attacks.
Mister Fantastic also joins the fray in Season 1, showcasing a unique blend of Duelist and Vanguard abilities – high health paired with stretchy attacks. A gameplay trailer highlights his ability to extend his reach to strike opponents and bolster his defense.
While the full Fantastic Four won't arrive immediately, Human Torch and The Thing are slated for a mid-season update approximately six to seven weeks after launch. Each season is planned to run roughly three months.
Initially anticipated for Season 1 was Blade, whose character model and abilities have been datamined. However, the reveal of Dracula as the Season 1 antagonist, while exciting, leaves Blade's arrival for a later date.
Despite this, the upcoming content has generated significant excitement among fans. Season 1 promises a thrilling experience with the addition of Invisible Woman, Mister Fantastic, new gameplay elements, and the looming presence of Dracula.
