Excitement is brewing in the world of Monster Hunter Now as Niantic introduces a thrilling new feature in its testing phase known as Monster Outbreaks. This innovative addition is currently in the feedback stage, allowing players to experience it firsthand and provide valuable insights before it potentially becomes a permanent part of the game.
When Is the Monster Outbreaks Testing in Monster Hunter Now?
Mark your calendars for the Monster Outbreaks testing, which will take place from April 26th to 27th. The event will occur twice daily on both Saturday and Sunday, from 10:00 to 10:59 a.m. and again from 3:00 to 3:59 p.m., all in local time. This limited-time event is your chance to dive into the action and see what Niantic has in store.
During these specific times, designated outbreak points on the game map will be teeming with 8-star Black Diablos. The challenge? Team up with fellow hunters to take down a total of 100 of these formidable creatures at each outbreak location within the one-hour window. Note that this count is per outbreak point, not a global total.
To participate, you must be at least Hunter Rank (HR) 11. Importantly, the party feature won't be available; only in-person group hunts will count toward your goal. Outbreak points are clearly marked on the map with a unique icon. By tapping on these icons, you can access detailed information and even sign up on a roster to coordinate with other players.
Black Diablos Is Rolling Up with Serious Boss Energy, in Swarm Mode!
The mechanics of the event are intriguing. If you and three other hunters successfully take down one Black Diablos, that counts as four towards the collective goal of 100. Should your group reach the 100-mark before the time runs out, you can continue hunting Black Diablos for the remainder of the hour.
Successfully meeting the 100-monster target comes with its rewards. Your team will receive 3 Black Diablos Tailcases, 3 Ridges, 3 Primeshells, 3 Marrows, and 2,000 Zenny. Additionally, if you utilize the sign-up roster, you'll be eligible for the exclusive Outbreak Test I Medal.
Are you eager to join the fray? Download Monster Hunter Now from the Google Play Store and immerse yourself in the Monster Outbreaks testing this weekend. Don't miss out on this exciting opportunity to influence the game's future and score some fantastic rewards along the way!
