Additionally, Pokémon Legends: Z-A and Metroid Prime 4: Beyond are slated for release this year, though specific dates remain undisclosed.

While no additional projects have been announced yet, fans can look forward to the Nintendo Direct on April 2nd, 2025. According to the financial report, live in-person Nintendo Switch 2 Experience events will commence in April across 15 global locations, including New York, Tokyo, and Amsterdam. While most locations have concluded their registration, fans can still join waitlists for a chance to secure a ticket. For those interested in the Japan leg of the event tour, ticket applications are open until February 20th JST.

Super Nintendo World Expands To Orlando, Florida

In a bid to broaden the reach of Nintendo's IPs, a new Super Nintendo World theme park is set to open in Orlando, Florida at Universal Orlando Resort’s Universal Epic Universe on May 22nd, 2025. This marks the second Super Nintendo World location in the United States, following the initial opening at Universal Studios Hollywood in California in February 2023. The Orlando park will showcase the vibrant world of Super Mario Land and the lush landscapes of Donkey Kong Country upon its launch.

Nintendo also plans to extend Super Nintendo World to Universal Studios Singapore, with a projected opening in 2025. However, no further details have been released regarding this expansion yet.
