Ubisoft unveiled the latest Rainbow Six Siege attacker, Rauora from New Zealand, during the Six Invitational's final day. Her unique ability centers around the DOM launcher, a deployable, bulletproof shield designed for doorways. While indestructible by bullets, explosives can destroy it. The shield's activation speed varies depending on the shooter: one second for attackers, three seconds for defenders – a potentially game-changing difference when the defuser is planted.

Rauora also brings a new weapon to the game: the Reaper MK2, a fully automatic pistol with a red dot sight and high-capacity magazine. Players can also equip her with either the M249 LMG or the 417 marksman rifle.
Rauora will be playable on the test servers starting next week, with a wider release to follow.
