To unlock Single Strike, make Kubfu your buddy and defeat 30 Dark-type Pokémon in raids or Max Battles. For the Rapid Strike style, follow the same process but target 30 Water-type Pokémon during this event.
Alongside the evolution challenge, the Final Strike: GO Battle Week introduces a Special Research that continues the season's storyline. Available until June 3rd, 2025, this research rewards you with Kubfu Candy, Mysterious Components, and encounters with themed Pokémon such as Charcadet, complete with a Special Background.
May 25th Is a Special Day
Mark your calendars for May 25th, the Gigantamax Machamp Max Battle Day. From 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time, Gigantamax Machamp will debut in six-star Max Battles, offering players a unique challenge. During this event, you'll enjoy several bonuses: you'll need to travel only a quarter of the usual distance to earn Max Particles, the storage limit for Max Particles will increase to 1,600, and all Power Spots will host Gigantamax Battles. Additionally, you'll earn 8× Max Particles from these battles and gain two extra Special Trades.
Don't miss out on collecting Max Mushrooms during the event. These items temporarily double the damage output of your Dynamax or Gigantamax Pokémon. While using multiple mushrooms can extend the duration, the power boost remains consistent.
