Available at app.avlview.com, this innovative tool allows schools to efficiently manage bus schedules, assign pickup and drop-off points, and keep parents informed about when their children's school bus is approaching designated stops.
The School module in AVLView offers a comprehensive suite of features to streamline school bus operations:
- Create Pre-Scheduled Trips: Easily set up and manage bus schedules for school transportation.
- Assign Specific Routes: Define precise routes (route fences) that buses must follow, ensuring safety and efficiency.
- Include Student Pick-up/Drop Points: Add waypoints to the route for student pick-up and drop-off.
- Notification Alerts for Schools: Receive real-time notifications via SMS or email about schedule violations, including time mismatches, route deviations, and missed stops.
- Student Information Integration: Add students to the school bus module with detailed grade information, such as VII C, for better organization.
- Assign Students to Trips and Stops: Link students to their scheduled trips and assign their specific stops.
- Multiple Trips per Student: Students can be assigned at least two trips – one for pick-up and one for drop-off.
- Trip-View on Map: Get a clear, visual representation of the bus route and student pick-up/drop-off points on an interactive map.
- Parent Sub-User Accounts: Parents can access a sub-user account for live tracking of the school bus, providing real-time updates on their child's journey and estimated time of arrival at stops.
