Battlecruisers is marking its fourth anniversary with a bang, as the developers at Mecha Weka unleash their most substantial update yet—the 'Trans Edition.' This update injects a plethora of fresh single-player and multiplayer content into the game, enhancing the overall experience for both new and veteran players.
What’s in Store in Battlecruisers 6.4 Trans Edition?
The 'Trans Edition' introduces three new cruisers: Goatherd, Pistol, and Megalith, each bringing unique capabilities to the battlefield. Complementing these are two new buildings, Cannon and Sledgehammer, and two new units, SpyPlane and MissileFighter, enriching the strategic options available to players.
Existing cruisers are not left behind, as they receive new customization options through three exciting Bodykits: Longbow Fringe, Rickshaw Scathis, and Yeti Corpse Piler. These additions allow for even more personalized gameplay and tactical versatility.
Skirmishes now feature the option to choose from Man o’ War, Huntress Prime, and Fortress Prime, enhancing the variety and excitement of battles. PvP matches have been updated with a countdown start and aircraft trails that now match player colors, adding a new layer of immersion and strategy.
The update also brings significant balancing changes. Ships like the Raptor see a boost in shield build and recharge rate, increasing from 3x to 5x, while the Hammerhead's health is enhanced from 4000 to 4200. Conversely, the ShipTurret's damage is improved from 40 to 60, though its range decreases from 19 to 16, ensuring a more dynamic gameplay experience.
Visually, Battlecruisers now boasts underwater transparency, allowing players to revel in the wreckage of their vanquished foes. The sea's shading has been refined, and the visual effects of cruiser and ship deaths have been upgraded for a more dramatic experience.
