Arise Crossover might seem simple at first glance: collect Shadow units, attack defenseless enemies, and power up your team. But even experienced players can get lost navigating progression, leveling, unit selection, and more. This guide is for those feeling a bit overwhelmed.

Arise Crossover offers recruitable Shadows, including a powerful dungeon boss. Currently, Soondoo (early game) is the weakest unit, while Mifalcon (final Brum Island) is the strongest.
Screenshot by The EscapistHowever, rank trumps type. A Rank A Soondoo outperforms a Rank D Mifalcon. Higher-ranked units have greater leveling potential; Rank D maxes at Level 75, while SS units reach Level 200. The ultimate goal? Four Level 200 Mifalcons (Rank SS), but getting there is half the fun!
Arise Crossover Dungeon Guide
Screenshot by The EscapistDungeon portals appear every 30 minutes, lasting 15 minutes. You can complete a dungeon even if you enter just before the portal closes. Portals spawn randomly across islands, offering varying difficulty ranks.
Start with a team of Rank D units and tackle Rank D (or C) dungeons on Leveling Island. This will build your team and potentially yield rare Shadow units. Dungeons are the only way to recruit rare units and common units above Rank C.
Screenshot by The EscapistWhenever a portal spawns, join in! Even without a strong team, wait near the portal; other players often help lower-level players complete dungeons. Many players solo dungeons and readily assist others. Use this to your advantage to acquire higher-ranked units. Recruiting Shadows from dungeons is key to progression.
We progressed using this cooperative approach: with Rank C units, a kind player took us through a Rank A dungeon, helping us recruit Rank A units and reach the endgame. We later returned the favor, assisting others. Embrace this community spirit!
Arise Crossover Weapons
Screenshot by The EscapistCurrently (Beta), weapons are largely ineffective. Early game, they might help, but by the second island, their impact diminishes significantly.
The Iron Kando Blade (currently the strongest common weapon) costs 60m and deals 516.1K damage. Your units will likely deal 200-400 million damage. Unless you have excess currency, save your money for future updates.
How to get a mount in Arise Crossover
Screenshot by The EscapistWild mounts spawn every 15 minutes, claimable by only one player per server. A server-wide message announces spawns, but not always captures or disappearances.
Six potential spawn locations exist: one on each main island's back side, and one on each small island between major islands. (See the developer's map).
Image by Arise Crossover official Trello boardYou can only claim each mount once, and capturing them isn't guaranteed. Flying mounts are rarest (around 10% spawn rate), ground mounts are common, and water mounts are available from the Boat Shop NPC.
To get a mount, watch for the server message and quickly check all six locations. While mounts enhance travel, they aren't essential for progression.
