In Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete, giving snacks to animals is a delightful way to boost their friendship levels, which in turn helps you advance your Camp Manager Level. Snacks, although rare, are key to speeding up your progress, especially when you're just starting out. The most reliable source for these treats is through Gulliver's Ship, making it essential to understand which snacks to give and in what quantities.
How to Get Snacks in Pocket Camp Complete
Gulliver's Ship Guide
The most straightforward method to obtain snacks is by utilizing Gulliver's Ship to explore special islands, known as gold islands, where you can collect Villager Maps. Completing all the souvenirs from a special island rewards you with x20 Gold Treats as a completion bonus.
For those who have already gathered every Villager Map, your next step is to navigate Gulliver's Ship to any island shown on the map. The type of island dictates the kind of snacks you'll find. To secure Gold Treats, focus on completing any Isle of Style that appears. You'll receive x3 Gold Treats as a souvenir, followed by an additional x3 as a completion bonus.
Remember, you can only view three islands at once. Refreshing the islands is possible by tapping the icon in the upper-right corner of your screen, but you're limited to one free refresh per day.
Operating Gulliver's Ship requires cargo, which you can craft from your furniture catalog. Some islands demand specific furniture types. For instance, if your goal is modern-themed snacks, set sail for Exotic Island using a Plain Package or Plain Crate, or opt for exotic-themed furniture like the Exotic Rug.
Each island offers different snacks, which you can preview by tapping the magnifying glass on the island's icon. Islands that require longer completion times (e.g., 6 hours) typically yield more treats than those that take 4 hours or less. Take Piano Island, for example, which is known for hosting all types of Tart Snacks (Plain Tart, Tasty Tart, Gourmet Tart).
Other Ways to Get Snacks
- You can also obtain Bronze, Silver, or Gold Treats by fulfilling Requests with rare items or receiving gifts from visitors at your campsite or cabin.
- Keep an eye on your Daily Goals for Silver and Gold Treats, as they're often part of these rewards.
- If you have Villager Maps, leverage Blathers's Treasure Trek and choose Auto-Trek (which costs x5 Leaf Tokens) to collect all available treats on the map. These maps consistently provide Bronze, Silver, and Gold Treats.

How to Give Snacks
Before offering a snack, always identify the animal's theme. Matching the snack to the animal's theme maximizes the friendship points gained. Bronze, Silver, and Gold Treats are generic and universally liked, so you don't need to worry about themes with these. Notably, the Gold Treat is the most effective, providing 25 friendship points per treat.
For instance, giving x10 Gold Treats to a level 1 animal can boost them directly to level 15.
To find out an animal's theme, tap their icon at your campsite or cabin; their theme will be displayed near their name. If you encounter an animal on the map (not at your campsite), you can check their theme in your Contacts or at Pete's Parcel Service.
To give a snack, simply tap the animal on the screen and select "Have a snack!". This option is always highlighted in red, indicating that you'll earn friendship points with each gift given.
