Hogwarts Legacy Mod Support Coming Sooner Than Expected

WB Games has an exciting announcement for fans of the Harry Potter universe: starting this Thursday, Hogwarts Legacy will support mods on PC, marking a significant update for the game. This feature will be part of a patch available for download on both Steam and the Epic Games Store.

The update introduces the Hogwarts Legacy Creator Kit, empowering enthusiasts to craft new content, including dungeons, quests, and character edits. The renowned platform, CurseForge, will manage and distribute these user-generated mods. Additionally, Hogwarts Legacy will implement a mod manager, simplifying the process of discovering and installing mods for players.

On launch day, several pre-approved mods will be accessible, such as the "Dungeon of Doom," which challenges players to battle numerous enemies and uncover hidden secrets. However, there's a crucial requirement: players must link their accounts to a WB Games account to access these mods.

Alongside mod support, the patch will enhance character customization with new hairstyles and additional outfits. The developers have showcased these mod examples in the trailer.

In other news, the development of the second part of the adventure game is underway. Warner Bros. Discovery has identified it as one of their top priorities for the coming years.
